How we started our journey

“It’s not about ideas. It’s about making ideas happen.” – Scott Belsky. There is nothing more fulfilling than bringing your hardwork to fruition. In 2005, the founder of Codepoets, Himanshu Desai, began his journey to chase his dream of being a successful entrepreneur. He started an HTML course at a significantly young age, at the time internet was not a very prevalent commodity. He learnt that the concept of web designing was both well-received and lucrative in the yester years and showed an interest in getting in the game with the big players. Being an amateur it seemed like a far- fetched project. After some years of determined and precise efforts he finally started an IT company with 2 products namely, Mail Mila (to track emails) and Freingers (connecting strangers via a chat platform). A handsome amount of 3-4 lacs was required for the investment of the former. It is never easy for a young college going boy who strives for success in a start-up company to arrange such a big amount of money. In order to make up for this, he went along with web-designing and worked wonders in it. Himanshu, along with some interns, made it happen and collected 12-15 lacs by designing websites. Post this and many other such enterprises, the company became a sure shot reality and has since been growing rapidly. They were capable enough to hold an event where 16-17 year old teenagers created over 300 websites in a day and entered into the Limca Book of Records. Codepoets has undertaken a lot of ventures till this date, but web designing will also be its primary strength.
